One boring afternoon in Medan and we decided to sit down and have tea. Together with my cousin, sister and CJ, we went to Ho Teh Tiam at Jalan Adam Malik, Medan. The place is not really fancy, but quite acceptable for a hanging out place with friends, proven by number of crowds especially at night..
Ho Teh Tiam could mean "A Place to Have Good Tea" in Hok Kien, so we asked for assistance in choosing the tea as they provide quite a lot of variety. We chose Pu Er Tea as it is effective for fat cleanse according to the waitress..=p They also provide different kinds of tea such as Ti Kuan Yin, Jasmine, Rose, Sui Xian, Dan Chung, Cen San Siao Cong, Chrysanthemum, etc and you can actually buy them in packets too as Ho Teh Tiam is also "Your One Stop Teashop" says their tag line..=`)
Our chosen Pu Er Tea at IDR 15.000 per packet (SGD 2.00++)
We need to pay IDR 25.000 (SGD 3.00++) for the "Tea Service" charge as the waitress will show us how to prepare the tea step by step..
It comes with variety of free snack though.. Ours last time was green bean soup..

After the first pot has finished, each of us wanted to try too!! Leave you guys with excited faces of my cousin and sis who tried to served us the tea..=p
