Bubble Tea

There is this craze for bubble tea in Singapore where almost every stall there will be long queue for it.

That is the queue for KOI at Iluma, Bugis, Singapore.

This is Grass Jelly Milk Tea, small cup at SGD $3.50

Each cup of tea costs around SGD $2++ to SGD $4++, they have a lot of variety of drinks.

That is the queue at Gong Cha, Plaza Singapura, Singapore.

That is me with my Milk Tea with Bubble that costs SGD $2.50 one cup. Prices at Gong Cha are slightly cheaper than KOI, but after I tasted both milk tea from the two, I, myself, prefer the milk tea from KOI..=`))

The best wan ton

This is the best wan ton noodle in Singapore according to me:

It's Kok Kee Wan Ton Noodle, located at Lavender Food Square, Singapore.

Crystal Jade Korean BBQ

My sister recommend this to us, THE giant chinese restaurant name, Crystal Jade has a korean bbq buffet, which comes with affordable price, for weekday lunch the package will only cost SGD 19.99++ per person!!

It is located at Centrepoint, Orchard Road, Singapore.

The menu: 

The ginseng chicken soup is limited to 1 bowl per person, and king prawn also 1 piece per person. The rest you can tick as much appetizer, dishes, rice&noodle, BBQ selection, dessert, soup as you can.

We were greedy enough to order a lot of soup and BBQ selection!!

There is this zhi-char at Blk 124 Toa Payoh Lor 1, Singapore that has awesome food, that the stall has ever been reviewed by television program in Singapore..I forgot the stall name, but if you are already on that block, you will surely know which one as it is always crowded..

Dewi's Birthday at Aston Specialties

We love Aston Specialties!! Each and everyone of us!! They serve good steaks, with affordable price, the only nay factor is only the queue every time we go there but it is always worthy when the steaks reach our belly..=p

It was Dewi's birthday when we came to Singapore, the kind girl treated us at Aston Specialties Cathay's branch, just a few minutes walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT, Singapore.

My cousin, Dewi, and I ordered Creamy Mushroom Soup for each of us and we were in Heaven..

 

My sister, Dewi, and I had IBC rootbeer for drinks and cousin chose the usual Ice Lemon Tea..

Our menu comes with 2 side dishes each and all at affordable price, only SGD 6.90 per portion!!

Breakfast at Koki Sunda

Heard about Koki Sunda breakfast from friends and decided to checked it out with CJ..

I ordered the Indonesian Fried Noodle with warm tea..

The taste is just fine. There is nothing special about it. In fact I don't like it. It annoyed me when I ate just "fine" food so I didn't even remember the price anymore..=p

CJ ordered fried carrot cake with tea, he wanted to try their Mie Sop, but they didn't have it by that time, so...

he said, "not bad".. even by looking at it I don't wanna try it out..teehee..=p

But they have half-boiled egg at cheaper price compared to Killiney (where I used to have it), so yayy we ordered it for us..

They serve lunch and dinner menu better than their breakfast.

Christmas Dinner at Fish & Co

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Last year's Christmas I spend it with CJ and Ms.Olivia+Hendra came to Singapore for holiday too..So we went to have our favorite Seafood Platter at Fish & Co!! It was at the Suntec City, Singapore branch.

This year, I have my Christmas dinner with sister and cousin, back at Fish & Co, Suntec City branch too!!

Seafood Platter for 2, SGD 39.95

This tells us that we should have Fish & Co every Christmas!!! Slrupp..What do you have for your Christmas dinner??

The Grand Duck King

Another fine afternoon and we decided that our stomachs need good food so off to The Grand Duck King we go!! It is located at Cambridge City Square, North Sumatra, Medan, Indonesia. This Chinese food restaurant has elegant and expensive ambiance, but let me tell you this, they have the best customer service ever for restaurants in Medan.

CJ has always adored their menu, from the name of their restaurant you should have known that their speciality would be duck, but as CJ is not really a fan of duck, we ordered his favorite Deep Fried Prawn in mayonnaise sauce.. this cost Rp. 60.000

also this sauteed squid which I forgot the name but it tasted really, really good.. cost Rp.48.000

CJ had his dishes with rice, while I prefer hainam rice..

We also decided to try their dim sum that day.. We ordered Xiao Long Bao and Steamed Chicken feet.. All dim sums are around Rp. 12.800-17.800 per portion.

The Xiao Long Bao are okay, but the chicken feet are too spicy for me, I still prefer dim sums from Lavender's Food Square, Singapore..=`)

We had one pot of Chrysanthemum tea to accompany our food, which is refill-able, the waiters will keep pouring for you every time you sip half of the cup..(I repeat, best customer service!!)

And they always prepare a bowl of pickle for you to have while waiting for your food to be served..They charged for it though if you decide that they are yummy..teehee..=p

I am really curious of their duck and definitely will try it on the next visit!!
